Description

About The Position

We are looking for a program manager, to coordinate, plan, control and assess our product releases and sprints.

 

  • Manage full product development life cycle from release planning to release review, develop and implement metrics, standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate across the organization to manage dependencies.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and remove impediments.
  • Communicate project status, risks, expectations, timelines/milestones, team velocity and other key project metrics to multiple audiences (management, project team, key stakeholders, etc.).
  • Involvement in defining projects scope
  • Strategic projects management
  • Agile advocate - coach the scrum teams and push our agile process to its next step

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing projects across the full software development life cycle (SDLC). Must have previous software engineering project or program management experience in commercial software industry
  • Experience with complex project management
  • Ability and motivation to drive cross-organizational changes
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and leverage technical knowledge to effectively guide programs and teams.
  • Tech background as QA/Dev/DevOps
  • Managerial experience, Agile coaching capabilities
  • Solid understanding of the product development life cycle. Experience with mixed development methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, SCRUM, Agile, Hybrid)
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written), collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence with a prevailing positive approach 
  • Extensive experience building operational and management level metrics to measure program/product health and trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and leverage technical knowledge to effectively guide programs and teams
  • Ability to translate Agile work plans into yearly committed work plans
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
  •  English – speaking and written – high level
