We enable  insurtech startups and other consumer technology companies to offer any kind of protection to their customers – how they want it, when they’re most likely to buy it, and who they’re most likely to buy it from. On top of that we provide a technology platform with APIs for everything from rating, quoting, and issuing policies to customer and claims management.
The Role:
The Director of Platform Success will play a critical role within our Growth team and handle responsibilities that range from client services, product development, partner implementation, and project management to ensure the successful implementation and management of Boost's insurance programs. Working directly with senior management and interfacing with our insurtech startup and digital distribution partners, the candidate will be responsible for developing, on boarding, launching, and managing various insurance programs with with diverse and innovative distribution partners. During the implementation and live phases of a program, the Director of Platform Success will serve as project manager for the Growth team and work collaboratively with the Insurance and Technology teams to develop products, features, and services for our existing distribution partners. The role encompasses both the execution of new partner launches plus ongoing management of existing partners and programs. This position requires a high-energy, enthusiastic, positive professional with the ability to manage diverse responsibilities and maintain cohesiveness between teams.


    • Lead the implementation and launch of insurtech startup and other digital platform distribution partners including operational logistics and coordinating with Insurance and Technology to execute the necessary compliance and integration work to bring a program live.
    • Effectively serves as a "translation bridge" between the Insurance and Technology teams to efficiently on board and manage new programs.   
    • Provide white glove service as the primary point of contact for our portfolio of insurtech and digital platform distribution relationships to ensure client satisfaction, continued growth, and consistent compliance 
    • Serve as the lead project management representative between the Insurance and Technology teams to identify, develop, and implement products, features, and services for Boost's partner base
    • Establish a deep understanding of the Boost Platform’s capabilities to strategically articulate a compelling value proposition pitch to potential insurtech and digital platform partners and external stakeholders.
    • Proactively identify and execute products and services that will improve Boost's value proposition to insurtech startups and other digital platform partners
    • Facilitate clear and organized cross-functional communication between Insurance and Tech teams to flag and potential issues or ways to improve our products and services.
    • Nurture and maintain existing Boost insurtech and digital programs; including but not limited to: program data reporting, internal day-to-day program operations, and other ad-hoc projects.
    • Help establish and develop scalable project management workflows to drive efficiencies in the Boost deal process.


    • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree a plus
    • 3-7 years of experience in a business development, product/project management, customer service, or operations role.
    • MUST be willing to relocate to New York full-time
    • MUST have knowledge of the P&C insurance/insurtech startup sector or strong willingness to learn
    • Experience with agile product development methodologies strongly preferred
    • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts strongly preferred
    • Deep experience with agile development methodologies strongly preferred
    • Previous experience working within the digital/innovation units of a P&C (re)insurance company preferred
    • Previous experience working at startups or tech companies a plus
    • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to juggle numerous tasks in a high-paced environment
    • Passionate about providing top notch customer service and identifying innovative product or service opportunities for our partners
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Self-starter with the ability to derive need without being told exactly what to do and is passionate about delivering best-in-class products and services
