Head of SEM & Display Marketing

Minted is seeking a Head of SEM & Display to manage and execute the company’s digital marketing optimization strategies to drive new customer growth. You will be working with a top-notch marketing team with digital experience running large-scale budgets and operations from companies such as eBay, Zulily, American Express, Levi’s and Williams-Sonoma. As an effective Senior Manager, SEM & Display will develop comprehensive integrated marketing plans, build cross-functional accountability, and deliver meaningful new customer growth across the entire business. We are looking for someone who has the skills and ambition to lead acquisition marketing at Minted as whole in a few years.
The Minted Marketing team is responsible for growing the number of new customers, increasing the repeat rate of those customers and increasing the LTV in manner that drives long-term competitive advantage all while improving ROIs/CPAs.  We do this all while telling the Minted brand story so the consumer is engaging with content that is relevant and inspirational.

You will:

    • Develop cross-channel acquisition strategy for Display & Paid Search across entire business.
    • Create integrated marketing campaigns for Wedding, Holiday, Art and stationery.
    • Oversee execution of PPC/SEM, display and paid social marketing plans to meet and exceed revenue and new customer acquisition goals. 
    • Manage campaign budgets, channels and expenditures to meet efficiency targets.
    • Drive A/B and multivariate testing programs to continually improve ad copy and creative, landing pages, bidding strategies, etc.
    • Analyze performance, and develop and drive appropriate action plans based on conclusions.
    • Test new marketing channels and ad products including own the process from tracking and technical integration to trafficking campaigns, optimizing and determining success.
    • Partner with analytics to improve reporting capabilities/marketing dashboards and develop understanding of related metrics (e.g. LTV, new/repeat mix, etc.)
    • Work with the design team to develop marketing units, display ads and other creative needed to support campaigns.
    • Gather insights on asset performance to inform best practices.
    • Build effective working relationships with agencies and vendors and provide direction in executing campaigns.
    • Drive continued innovation and best practice implementation, regularly sharing knowledge with the marketing team and Minted executives.

You are:

    • A clear communicator. You must be able to think big picture and communicate with executives that are not steeped in channel knowledge and jargon as this role is highly visible and will interface regularly senior leadership.
    • A perfectionist who is extremely detail-oriented and has a passion for being well-organized.
    • A fast learner and natural collaborator with excellent listening skills.

You have:

    • A Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of work experience in digital marketing with proven success in driving new customers on Facebook, Google.
    • 2+ years managing a team.
    • Experience in other areas of marketing (eg: product marketing) or strategy is a big plus.
    • Excellent analytical and data skill who enjoys digging deeply into data and building Excel models; experience with SQL is a plus.
    • An ownership mindset with outstanding follow-up, follow-through, and time management skills.
