We are looking to add  a sharp, passionate & experienced DevOps Engineer to build and grow the next generation of enterprise video communication cloud. You will work with a team of world-class  engineering ninjas within BlueJeans, who are focused on building innovative & disruptive next gen enterprise video collaboration cloud. In this role, the Sr. DevOps Engineer will be responsible for builds and releases of all of software artifacts. Will work with development and QA teams to provide build infrastructure and automated tools to facilitate delivery of high quality products and plays a critical role in the development lifecycle and the product offerings.

As the DevOps Engineer you will play an integral role in establishing our build & release automation strategies. You will be responsible for interfacing with the application development teams and ensure the build and release requirements are addressed throughout the development lifecycle for the BlueJeans cloud service that is deployed globally on our own servers co-located in data centers as well using 3rd party cloud service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Administrate Atlassian JIRA Server, Bitbucket Server, Confluence Server and Crucible as well as the integration between them
  • Maintain and iterate on JIRA projects, workflows, permissions
  • Maintain and iterate on Nexus Repository and its proxy
  • Administrate and be the point of contact for Jenkins. Maintain Jenkins slaves which consist of Mac, Ubuntu, Redhat and Windows
  • Evaluate moving parts of our on-prem build and CI workflow to secure cloud-based providers
  • Define and execute backup strategy for various systems
  • Review, analyze and recommend tools and processes to improve and automate workflow

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Supported cloud services or web company
  • Prior experience working with quality tool such as Coverity, Blackduck, Purify, Purecov etc
  • Experience managing database. MySQL/Postgres preferred
  • Experience working and managing docker registry, maven, nuget, npm repositories
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • At least 2 years of Jenkins administration experience. Experience with Jenkins pipeline a plus
  • At least 2+ years of experience managing Atlassian tools. Prior experience managing JIRA preferred
  • Experience with Unix administration
  • Hands-on experience creating and managing build platforms
  • Working knowledge of container and its orchestration tools
  • Experience with shell scripting. At a minimum, be able to debug Java, python, groovy, node and make
  • LDAP integration experience. Know how to write ldap queries
  • Experience with AWS
  • Working knowledge of Git, Nginx, Slack integration, Mercurial
  • Experience working with SSL certs
  • BS in Computer Science or related field
