About the Role

 

This role will report to the Revenue Manager. In this challenging role, you will develop detailed and efficient close processes, streamline domestic and international reporting, work cross functionally and maintain responsibility of several key critical accounting projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Participate in critical accounting projects, including the implementation of new system logics or enhancements and new revenue standards
  • Develop and document processes and controls, and identify opportunities for outsourcing and automation to improve the speed and efficiency of the monthly revenue close
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, engineering and various business owners on a variety of projects
  • Perform and maintain assigned internal controls on a monthly basis
  • Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis at month-end close
  • Support external audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility
  • Assist in financial reporting during the month-end close process
  • Support revenue team on ad-hoc analysis and projects

What You’ll Need

  • Knowledge of revenue recognition in US GAAP
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • A minimum of 3 years professional experience; Public accounting background is a plus
  • Month-end close experience preferred
  • Experience with Oracle a plus
  • Knowledge of and basic ability to read and write SQL a bonus
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and digest mass amounts of data required
  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Excellent time and self-management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines

About the Team

 

We build scalable & controlled processes and help implement accounting systems and automation for our Global Accounting function.
