With 35,000+ instructors and 24M+ students in 190 countries, Udemy already has a large and rapidly growing footprint. This role will support Udemy’s successful expansion into new markets by “growth hacking” - or more formally - devising and executing on an innovative go-to-market plan.
The successful candidate is a jack of all trades, seasoned marketer who has a wide range of skills, from copywriting to developing multi-channel marketing strategies and managing external marketing agencies. This role will require creative problem solver, who is not afraid to try new approaches/channels and roll up his/her sleeves to get things done.


    • Creating and owning go to market strategy for new market expansion opportunities, working closely with internal content and marketing teams
    • Defining marketing objectives and KPIs for new market expansion initiatives
    • Devising and executing marketing campaigns, measuring effectiveness, as well as testing and iterating as necessary
    • Identifying, vetting, and managing external marketing agencies
    • Managing a marketing budget, and efficiency vis-a-vis KPIs
    • Conceiving and executing grassroots campaigns to growth-hack a new audience/market


    • Demonstrated ability to set marketing direction for go-to-market plans
    • Entrepreneurial, self-starter who has a flair for creative problem solving
    • Solid analytical ability (SQL, etc), with track record of “test & learn” mindset
    • >5 years experience in digital marketing (Paid Ads, Affiliates, SEO, etc)
    • >2 years experience hiring and managing agencies
    • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills
