Description

What you’ll do
Reporting directly to the Sr. Creative Director of Brand, you’ll be responsible for contributing strategically and tactically to the long-term vision of the brand, managing and directing the creative team and their output. Partnering with the Copy Director, you will elevate the work by developing creative strategies that are on brand and support business needs and have direct experience in developing a variety of concepts and assets across a wide range of channels. You’ll play a key role in driving the iterative and collaborative creative process among multiple stakeholders and the team. The person in this role must be comfortable with giving and receiving real-time feedback.

Your day-to-day may include:

    • Lead creative visual strategy, thoughtfully deploying the brand in all your work and helping maintain consistent standards for design
    • Manage the work of the designers in achieving creative objectives; providing mentorship while developing skill and career
    • Inspire the creative team to be better connected with the business and the consumers
    • Synthesize and deliver on creative briefs, taking complex information and concepts, and distilling them into compelling, strategically sound experiences across media types (video, digital marketing programs, emails, paid social media, landing pages, etc.)
    • Develop and maintaining harmonious partnerships with our ACD/Copy and other team members for concepting and executing creative projects
    • Oversee all design-related activities and processes, providing feedback and guidance to ensure consistency with our brand voice, tone, and style - act as a brand steward by protecting the integrity of the work
    • Work within brand guidelines to create work that fits the existing brand and evolve guidelines as needed to align teams across the organization
    • Collaborate with copy and video teams to bring our brand promise “Be able” to life across all customer experiences – create storytelling content for all channels, and represent the business interests in these projects
    • Participate in and lead idea-generating sessions
    • Rally around and articulating ideas effectively to key stakeholders at all levels

What you’ll need:

    • 7+ years experience designing and concepting across a range of marketing channels (email, onsite, ad campaigns, social, video, content) for B2C brands and e-commerce companies
    • Previous experience with team management, mentoring other designers, and working closely with Art Directors and designer partners
    • Expert understanding of best practices and creative considerations across the web, mobile, digital advertising, video, social, SEO principles, etc.
    • A finger on the pulse of what’s happening with the web, social media, and industry
    • The ability to think strategically, creatively, and tactically
    • Exceptional conceptual and design skills and a robust portfolio that shows your talent in print, web and events
    • Experience with email marketing, display advertising and retargeting campaigns, social media content, integrated marketing campaigns, and brand-level work across a variety of discipline
    • Experience evaluating workload and optimizing process
    • Deep understanding of how to apply the methodologies of design and research to solve key business problems
    • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and a working understanding of HTML/CSS and web browser capabilities, plus strong typography, video, motion graphics, and interaction design skills
    • A can-do attitude without ego
