As the Lead Product Marketing Manager on Uber’s Money team, you’ll help shape and bring the story of Uber’s financial product portfolio to life. You’ll lead a team of talented PMMs to bring new products to market and grow the business for our portfolio of Money products and programs.


The role demands technical depth, principled thinking, well-honed product judgment, a stubborn refusal to settle, bold innovation, a high design bar and a customer-centric compass.

What You’ll Do:

  • Help to shape the Money product narrative and customer strategy, developing end-to-end product positioning, building go-to-market plans and owning the growth strategy for the Money portfolio.
  • Manage a team of PMMs to own respective areas within the Money area, driving strategy and execution to deliver on business goals and bring the vision to life.
  • Drive a research agenda that equips the product team with data-based customer insights to deliver the right products and experiences.


What You’ll Need

  • 10+ years combined product and growth marketing experience delivering highly successful user acquisition and engagement strategies, with a focus on consumer marketing.
  • 3+ years managing a team of high-performing product marketers
  • Finger-tippinesses with data: You just go get the data you need and can whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to leverage data to make decisions and drive growth. You have experience running rigorous multivariate testing.
  • Top-notch at market research: You’re a truth-seeking missile. You know your market, customers and competition better than anyone, and you integrate this information into your growth strategies.
  • Master storyteller: You can craft a compelling narrative across different channels - you know how to match the message to the medium.
  • You’re biased toward action, a great collaborator and master disambiguator/simplifier. You never stop pushing towards clarity and delivery.
  • Scary-good at articulating the essence of products and the value they create. You can develop a strong messaging hierarchy and effective content strategy. You can also play copywriter.
  • Grittiness: You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away.
  • True passion for Uber’s mission and the company’s hybrid technology / operations nature.


Bonus Points if

  • Domain expertise in financial product, services, or technology.
  • Experience overseeing a portfolio of banking products
  • Experience with mobile wallets, P2P, or microlending

The Money team builds Uber’s products and programs that create financial value and facilitate payments for customers.
