About The Role
Leanplum is looking for a Salesforce Developer in our San Francisco headquarter office.  The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for the system administration, maintenance and development of our Salesforce platform.  This is a highly visible role who will work closely with different functional stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Engineering, IT and Operations.  This position will also be responsible in building customization within Salesforce, take a lead role in multiple system integration projects and support process improvements for different business applications.


    • Assist in administration and operational support such as, but not limited to, system maintenance, user and security management, configuration and customization
    • Provide timely support for end-users in different geographical locations
    • Maintain, develop and deploy ad hoc reports and dashboards
    • Develop technical solutions to address emerging operational requirements
    • Identifies and supports new system features and functionalities
    • Responsible for maintaining data integrity within the system and enforcing data quality policies
    • Act as IT liaison and subject matter expert for Salesforce and other integrated systems to internal and external customers
    • Oversee several project initiatives within Salesforce including maintenance and building of integration to Salesforce
    • Participate and contribute to all phases of SDLC from planning to stabilization
    • Develop detailed task plans and accurate estimates for design, build and stabilization of project deliverables
    • Perform system testing, debugging, hard-coding and quality assurance
    • Collaborate with functional stakeholders to validate data and coordinate UAT
    • Documentation of as-is and to-be processes and configurations
    • Create technical design document for enhancement request and projects
    • Promote, create and implement change management policies


    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technology-related field
    • 5+ years experience and in-depth knowledge on Salesforce administration related to user management, workflows, security and roles, standard objects, reports and dashboards and customization
    • Detailed experience working on platform, framework and custom application development
    • Minimum 3+ years experience in handling multiple system integration projects with programming knowledge such as Java, C#, PHP and/or APEX preferred
    • API development using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML and/or web services preferred
    • Experience managing Sandbox and databases
    • Strong understanding of project management and software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies using Agile, SCRUM and/or waterfall
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
