Job Description:

Sojern is seeking a Total Rewards Manager to help take our Global Compensation Program to the next level. This newly created role will serve as the subject matter expert to Recruiters, People Ops, Line Managers, and Business Leaders to develop innovative compensation solutions that align with business needs and goals. This role is based in San Francisco.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership regarding our global compensation philosophy, practices and programs for the company

  • Be the internal leader for all job architecture including job profiles, levels and job title taxonomy

  • Own the market benchmarking process for all compensation elements, including survey selection, submission, and maintaining accurate and updated data in our compensation systems

  • Review global market compensation data, salary surveys, and compensation trends to drive creative programs and ensure company pay strategy is competitive, aligned to business needs, and to support informed management decision-making

  • Support the semi-annual compensation reviews that are tied to our performance management process

  • Provide communication and education to managers and employees around compensation practices and decisions

  • Assist with compliance regarding employee pay by staying up to date on current legislations

  • Additional projects in support of our global compensation program as needed

 

Requirements:

  • 7+ years experience focused in the analysis, design, and administration of global compensation programs

  • Demonstrated solid knowledge of global compensation programs, practices and related applicable laws

  • Demonstrated ability to perform tasks and responsibilities using good judgment around balancing the long-term impact of decisions with the appropriate sense of urgency

  • Must be able to be an effective business partner and consultant to all levels of the organization

  • Strong process management skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • BA degree required
