As the Senior Manager, Sales Development, you will be responsible for managing a team and helping them generate demand, interest, and excitement for Qubole while creating a steady pipeline of business. You are a proven leader who can help develop our quickly growing team of highly motivated Sales Development Representatives. Together with the team, you’ll lead the charge in planning and implementing best practices for pipeline generation.
 

What you'll be doing

      • Hire, Train, and Manage a team of Sales Development Reps or Business Development Representatives
      • Develop Reps into sales-ready candidates for future Account Executive positions
      • Create Metrics for Monthly Qualified Lead Objectives
      • Motivate Individuals and Team to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives
      • Regularly report on Team/Individual Results - Lead Quantity, Quality, Revenue
      • Work closely with Marketing on defining Campaign follow-up and reporting
      • Work closely with Sales Managers and Reps to ensure Lead Quality/Quantity and proper follow-up
      • Work closely with Operations to make recommendations on process improvements
      • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of Process, Efficiency, Productivity
 

What you'll be doing

    • Proven experience successfully managing people to achieve performance goals
    • 5 - 7 years of experience in software sales, preferably in enterprise software, with a consistent proven track record of over achievement of quota expectations.
    • Outstanding communication, organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficient with Salesforce and aptitude in analyzing data, trends, and information to identify growth opportunities.
