About the Role

 

The Uber Everything team is developing Uber's next set of businesses building on Uber as a platform.  You will be involved in some of the new exciting business lines, such as Uber Eats, coming out of Uber. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business strategy, executing through partnerships, and articulating how our business model evolves with these new strategic initiatives.

 

This is a unique opportunity to be a senior member of the Uber Everything business organization. We're looking for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a team environment and is excited to create a new business within Uber. You've excelled in both product and relationship-building roles.

You'll work to source and close a wide array of partners as great additions to the Uber Everything ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate strategic and partnership opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Source, negotiation and implement strategic partnerships in support of a business thesis or business model
  • Work with both internal and external product and marketing teams to drive to successful partnership outcomes
  • Develop deep relationships with key partners that fit into our go-to-market master plan
  • Understand business model implications and communicate in a financially grounded way

What You’ll Need

  • At least 12 years of experience in strategy and business development
  • Experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity a plus
  • 5 years of heavy internal stakeholder management with product management and marketing
  • Demonstration of achievement creating and executing on partnerships
  • Excellent use of insights and data-driven decision making
  • Resourcefulness and passion for our mission
  • Thorough understanding of a variety of business models (we're still proving ours)
  • An extremely proactive, self starter mentality with excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying partner needs
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in an unstructured, fast paced environment
  • Passion for the on-demand delivery space
