When you’re not catching zzz’s, this is what you’ll do

  • Lead consumer segmentation studies and persona development to inform strategic planning and decision making throughout the organization globally.
  • Collaborate with integrated marketing teams on brand health tracking, equity analysis and advertising diagnostics (from concept testing to advertising performance) aiming to optimize our communications to attract new customers.
  • Conduct new research and analyze existing market research data for consumers in the sleep category to help business partners make informed, data-driven decisions that deliver against key strategic objectives, helping to drive innovation and deliver joy at scale.
  • Work with cross functional leadership to build a research roadmap to inform business strategy and share ongoing analysis and executive summaries of market trends, category trends and consumer insights.
  • Work with the data and analytics team to create, maintain and optimize a Knowledge Center on all consumer data to use as a reference library for cross functional business partners.
  • Collaborate with product, merchandising and marketing to conduct  qualitative and quantitative research to inform product development strategy including product positioning, pricing, naming and claim development.
  • Establish and operationalize company-wide research methodology, ensuring all research is designed and analyzed in such a way that it is reliable and easily translatable into actionable insight.

Our dream candidate is...

  • Restlessly curious about consumer behaviour and market trends; has a strong collaborative approach and a track record in unlocking business growth through actionable insights
  • 10+ years of experience in Market Research and/or Consumer Insights roles with a BA/BS degree required, MBA or other Master's degree preferred.
  • A proven ability to present high priority findings, and expertise making data actionable, contextually relevant, and compelling - a true storyteller!
  • Deep understanding of how to leverage insights to grow the business including identifying new customers, developing new products, heightening appeal through advertising and media targeting.
  • Relevant experience in consumer/ lifestyle brands.
