About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HR leader who will drive strategic initiatives across Lending Club and lead some of our most important People Success work. This role will serve as a key member of the People Success leadership team, will report into our Head of People Development, and will be tasked to execute against an aggressive transformation and growth strategy, which includes significant change management, culture evolution as well as senior leadership development.
They will need to effectively balance the need for business partnership and employee advocacy, while playing a key role in the transformation and change management efforts including our Performance Management process, People Success strategy work as well as initiatives including employee retention, talent assessment, succession planning, executive/employee onboarding and organizational changes.
The ideal candidate is a highly-strategic and data-driven individual who has broad experience leading company-wide initiatives, influencing across a diverse organization as well as using data to tell a story.
What You'll Do
The development, coordination and execution of strategic People initiatives across Lending Club in collaboration with the People Success Business Partners, People Development and various other business leaders
Partner with our Chief People Officer on the creation and communication of our People Success strategy across LendingClub
Lead the evolution and implementation of a research-based and technology-enabled Performance Management system to include the implementation of Workday Performance and the associated tracking, metrics and communication across the organization
Own the end-to-end Talent Review lifecycle throughout the business by partnering with our Executive team and People Success Business Partners to ensure a rigorous and measurable process has been achieved each year and is measurable
Develop a framework with analysis of our organization’s "health" by analyzing trends in performance, employee satisfaction, attrition and turnover, etc.
Enhance LendingClub’s strategic use of Technology as it relates to Learning, Performance and employee development
Work with head of organizational strategy to execute on organizational initiatives and ensure connectivity across functions, influencing leaders and Business Partner’s
- Have a deep understanding of the employee lifecycle, performance/talent management, employee onboarding and the utilization of learning management systems
- 10+ years of experience in an HR or Learning & Development role
- Deep project management experience in an HR or learning & development function is preferred
- The ability to understand and synthesize data in order to tell a story
- Strong presentation, influencing and communication skills
- Team player, willing to adapt based on business needs and partner across the organization
