About the Role

 

- Application of Technology Controls

- Ownership of Technology Policies and Standards

- Maintenance and evolution of Rationalized Control Framework for internal and external demand

- Maintenance and evolution of Policies, Standards and Procedures and alignment to controls

- Communication and Coaching on the role of control ownership

- Monitoring, Remediation Tracking of Technology Audit & Compliance Findings & Recommendations

- Maintain the portfolio of remediation work based on internal and external audit findings

- Proactively evolving processes and procedures where gaps are identified

- Standardize and organize third party documents to minimize disruption and improve consistency of documents provided to third parties.

- Identify gaps and drive creation of new documentation needed to support recurring third party requests


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Define Technology Controls Roadmap

- Complete assessments against new control requirements

- Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics

- Coordinate efforts with other specialists such as Internal Audit, Technology Risk, Compliance and other Governance groups

- Define and measure success metrics and KPIs for Policy and Standard adherence

- Provide inputs into related processes

 

 

What You'll Do

 

  • Experienced with various control frameworks
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for financial services
  • Hands on experience working with ticketing and workflow tools (Such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Remedy)
  • A deep understanding of how financial services organizations manage audits and adhere to internal controls and external regulations
  • Experience and knowledge of evidence gathering, methodologies, tools and human factors
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity for action
  • Acute business insight and understanding of organizational issues and challenges

 

 

About You

 

  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Secure Document distribution and management processes
  • Scrum/Agile methodologies
  • Information Security methods
