ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Instructor Partnerships team is among the most cross-functional in the company. We work to identify and engage our most successful instructors across key markets.
 
In this role, you will lead the partnership strategy for a portfolio of our top and up-and-coming instructors in the French market. You will work with them closely to understand their goals and offer strategic consultation to optimize their growth on the Udemy platform. Your success will be measured by your ability to boost your instructors’ productivity and maintain their loyalty to Udemy.  
 
With a lens into the French Instructor experience, you’ll aggregate and analyze Instructor’s needs and advocate within Udemy to help drive and build products and programs that can help them expand their businesses on Udemy. This is a full time position based in Dublin, Ireland.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

    • Owning a portfolio of our top and high potential French Instructors by developing individual content strategy success plans for each instructor to ensure productivity, student growth and content retention
    • Conducting Annual Reviews and ad hoc analysis for your top Instructors to answer platform performance questions
    • Driving a feedback loop with other teams, and in particular with the French Market Development team, to surface and align on instructor needs that will translate into strategic company  investments
    • Identifying and connecting Instructors to programs and opportunities to cultivate loyalty and engagement with your portfolio of instructors (e.g., surfacing media opportunities, offering early access to new product betas, and participating in instructor advisory boards. etc.)
    • Becoming a trusted consultant to your instructors, one who deeply understands and anticipates their needs and helps them navigate the marketplace As needed, prospect and onboard new French instructors who have demonstrated productivity potential

We’re excited about you because you:

    • Have 2+ years of experience working in a relationship-building role such as account management, sales, partnerships, or customer success. Not only have you done this work, but you like it and you’re good at it
    • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills (in French and English) -- you know how to deliver persuasive and actionable feedback and keep people excited
    • Are a strategic, analytical thinker who enjoys identifying creative solutions to problems
    • Are empathetic and enjoy building relationships
    • Are organised, self-starting and able to manage multiple projects effectively

Nice to haves:

    • You may have knowledge of SQL or Salesforce as these are frequently used tools
    • You enjoy the peak and valley paced environment of a growth stage scale-up business - change does not throw you off
    • You are passionate about education or the edtech industry
