Boost Insurance is a next generation insurance platform built from the ground up with the explicit goal of making the business of integrating with an insurance company as painless as possible. We enable insurtech startups and other consumer technology companies to offer any kind of protection to their customers – how they want it, when they’re most likely to buy it, and who they’re most likely to buy it from. On top of that we provide a technology platform with APIs for everything from rating, quoting, and issuing policies to customer and claims management.
We are an early stage startup supported by leading venture capital and strategic investors and we’re seeking highly-driven professionals motivated by the prospect of building something from the ground up – and doing things differently.
The Director of Insurance Operations will play a critical project management role on the Insurance Team working with the Director of Insurance Product Development, Director of Underwriting, and Director of Claims with all tasks related to program development and implementation of Boost’s Insurtech Partners including development of rates, forms, underwriting guidelines, and sound claims and reporting strategies. Reporting directly to the Head of Insurance Strategy, the candidate will project manage the day to day operations of the Insurance Team to help bring insurance program concepts from ideation to launch. This role will work cross-functionally with the Growth, Technology, and Legal Teams to assist with due diligence, implementation, and ongoing management of Boost’s Insurtech Partner’s programs. The Director of Insurance Ops will also assist with all reporting needs, program audits, and coordinate program implementation with our fronting carrier and reinsurance partners. The candidate will be responsible for managing complicated projects and ensuring that implementation timelines are met.
The role requires a hungry, driven, self-starter with the ability to navigate across teams and handle multiple projects at once while maintaining pristine organization.
