The Role
We're looking for a fearless Marketing professional to own, automate, innovate, and optimize the technical aspects of our email marketing platform, plus manage campaign deployment cross other notification channels, such as SMS and App.  You will be at the helm of our ESP, launching new capabilities and optimizations, while ensuring that ongoing programs operate smoothly. Because you love being the technical expert on the team, you will be the team’s go-to person to make marketing programs more seamless, sophisticated, and impactful.

Your Opportunity

    • Be at the helm of our Email application: partner closely with our ESP to improve personalization and automation in both campaigns and triggers; launch new lifecycle triggered emails; ensure accuracy in what’s sending; and maximize the potential of the platform
    • Onboard additional vendors / features to enhance the capabilities of our marketing programs
    • Launch, manage, and optimize new customer notification channels, including but not limited to SMS and App
    • Conduct meaningful customer & test analyses, leveraging tools such as Looker, SailThru, and Mixpanel to inform optimization
    • Introduce and launch new ideas and initiatives to push the envelope on marketing capabilities
    • Champion innovation and best practices in development and workflow processes
    • Run point on special projects as assigned, including working with Engineering, other cross-functional teams, and the ESP for development projects

About You

    • You have 3+ years of professional ecommerce marketing experience and are comfortable working on a high-performing team that is constantly challenging itself
    • Robust experience managing an ESP (SailThru, Bronto, Responsys Interact, Cheetah Mail, Double Click, Acxiom Digital, etc).
    • Strong HTML skills
    • Ability to quickly learn technical systems and new tools
    • You love detail and quality control
    • You love working with data: your first instinct to solving any problem is to see what the data says
    • You are tenacious: once you set your mind to something, you achieve it
    • You are passionate about the customer experience
    • You care about leaving a positive impact in the world
    • You love to work hard, learn fast, and bring new ideas to the table

Nice to have

    • Experience working directly for an ESP
    • Retail experience
    • Experience across multiple marketing channels
    • SQL skills
