About the role

Technical Writer



Looking for an experienced Technical Writer to create and maintain product documentation for our e-commerce platform. Documentation includes user manuals, configuration guides, online help, and training documents and videos.  The role requires good working relationships with cross-functional teams such as Delivery, Accounts, Product Managers, QA, and Development team



  • Strong editing skills and the ability to write in a clear and concise manner
  • Focus on quality and details
  • Quality orientation in all aspects of work
  • Ability to work independently with the orientation towards self-learning and growth
  • High sense of Individual accountability
  • Ability to multitask with a thirst for knowledge (learn, unlearn and relearn)



  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively interview subject matter experts 
  • Be persistent, and creative when it’s necessary, about getting the information needed to get the job done
  • Plan, write, edit and review large or complex documents including user manuals, configuration guides, admin guides, and technical documents
  • Ability to master complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable to the target audience
  • Create product training materials such as videos and onboarding walkthroughs
  • Serve as the voice of end users and keep figuring out the best ways to present our help content 
  • Self-driven and able to work with cross-functional teams like QA, Delivery, Accounts, and PMs
  • Experience in creating user manuals, configuration guides, feature documents, admin guides, training videos for software products
  • Help and review content for user interface and provide user inductive text, contextual help and tool tips if necessary
  • Experience documenting REST APIs is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of HTML, XML and JSON is an added advantage
