As the Senior Channel Manager your role encompasses:

  • Management of all channels and technical partners in Japan territory with the development of a territory plan with a focus on the key managed partners
  • Know the Product, strengthen partner’s sales and SE to sell new logo and upsell
  • Know the pricing and positioning to keep the deal integrity in the channel
  • Update all the latest sales tools to Partners (at least 1 event / quarter)
  • Drive cadence, activities and high-touch events with the Partner
  • Formalize the Key partner Forecasting
  • Formalize the Key partner Technical meeting
  • Help Sales team to meet or exceed assigned sales targets
  • Collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing to manage the territory and execute on the territory plan
  • Drive attendance at all partner events driven by the partner enablement and marketing teams
  • Be responsible for overall partner field relationships and satisfaction in assigned Distributer and Indirect Reseller
  • Act as partner advocate when communicating within MobileIron with a view towards developing a partnership approach across all aspects of the business
  • Drive partner competencies and other programs
  • Drive demand generation activities in partners using programs and tools available
  • Deliver sales training to partners (who has greater than $1M revenues / Year)

 

Required skills:

  • BA/BS in technical or business discipline
  • Minimum 7 years relevant work experience which include Sales and/or Business Development
  • Business English skill, prefer 800 TOEIC score
  • Native or Business Level Japanese
  • Self-motivated; proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking
  • Great leadership skills and ability to lead teams of highly talented and independent individuals
  • Excellent communication, organizational and program management skills
  • Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
  • Thoroughly understand partner enabling and Go To Market phases
  • Teamwork:  Efficiently collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
  • Ability to look at the big picture and modify day to day operation of partner program to scale
  • Organized and detailed oriented
  • Input partner requirements into product team
  • Experience working with Mobileiron Japan’s partners are big plus
