Job Description

As a member of the Turnitin global marketing team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new assets, pages, and properties to support web-based campaigns across the globe. You will work alongside marketers to build new pages and features on Turnitin’s marketing sites, and stand-alone pages for specific campaigns. You will collaborate with creative teams to develop sketches, wireframes, and comps, and deliver functional, optimised web pages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sketching and wireframing of new web pages and sites 
  • Development and deployment of web pages, as both CMS templates and stand-alone sites
  • Collaboration with marketing managers, content managers, and social media specialists
  • Implementation and tracking of performance and engagement metrics
  • Participation in check-ins and ah-hoc kickoff meetings
  • Maintenance and updating of existing web properties

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated, with strong project management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment, across technical and creative functions
  • Comfortable handling multiple work streams at once

Essential Qualifications

  • Several years experience building professional websites from wireframe to launch
  • Strong HTML5 / CSS3 / ES6 skills with an emphasis on accessibility and mobile performance
  • Familiarity with UI / UX best practices and wireframing and prototyping tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch
  • Familiarity with modern front-end workflows and tools like NPM / Webpack / Gulp
  • Familiarity with collaborative Git workflows
  • Experience working collaboratively with design and other non-technical stakeholders via productivity software like Asana and Jira
  • Familiarity with SEO and SEM best practices
