Directs a team focused on the identification, development and customization of complex systems solutions to address client’s business requirements. Oversees design activities that may involve application/system architecture or process designs for integration of very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Serves as manager/advocate for the client and as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Typically project-based, May be considered part of a professional services consulting engagement.  As a manager, the candidate will be responsible for Selecting, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. 


Minimum Requirements    

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience, or Characteristics     


  • Demonstrated experience in managing people and multiple projects.
  • Highly results oriented and have demonstrated experience in leading a department that implements projects for external customers.
  • Experience in establishing standards and implementing project management methodologies.


Helpful / Preferred

  • Experience with PMI standards.
