Associate Product Manager, E-Commerce

Minted is looking for an Associate Product Manager, E-Commerce to join our Product Management team.  This is an amazing early career opportunity for a bright and analytical person with strong consumer and product instincts looking to gain their first experience in Product Management.  
This role will play a critical function on the E-Commerce product team helping manage and maintain overall site quality.  Quickly becoming an expert in Minted’s customers, products, and shopping experience, you will leverage this expertise to be a strong organizational advocate for the consumer and effectively own the processes that identify, prioritize, and address the most important site issues impacting our customers and business.
This individual will help drive important process improvement initiatives, developing a strong working understanding of product management operations and execution, and have an invaluable opportunity to ‘learn the ropes’ supporting more senior team members during various phases of exciting product roadmap initiatives.

You will:

    • Keep the company roadmaps up to date each day, recording all changes, and assisting the VP Product Management in managing and communicating the roadmaps.
    • Develop, publish, and maintain easy-to-reference repositories for all critical product documentation (specifications, feature and product descriptions) including document creation and updates where gaps exist
    • Own and manage consolidation of all bugs, errors, and site issues surfaced through: customer service, customer contacts and feedback emails, internal employees, automated error and latency monitoring, your own regular site shopping
    • Review, reproduce, and understand all issues and work with members of the product team to gather qualitative and quantitative data to help prioritize these issues
    • Create, maintain and groom the prioritized backlog of all issues: documenting the source of input, quantified customer impact, and all relevant details from the initial reported issue; deep dive into root causes for top issues, write jira stories and acceptance and automation testing criteria for issues at the top of the backlog
    • Lead deep, detailed analysis of customer feedback to develop important conclusions on top drivers of customer contacts and recommendations for contact rate reduction
    • Perform customer research through contact analysis and onsite monitoring tools Interview and capture business requirements from internal stakeholders
    • Research and document competitive offerings and functionality
    • Manage and update requirement documentation
    • Assist with test case development and detailed feature and product testing
    • Write release notes and train internal stakeholders on new features

You Have:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Strong interest in retail and E-Commerce with a passion for creating great consumer experiences
    • Highly analytical and structured thinking with strong problem-solving skills and bias for data-driven decision making
    • Natural curiosity for technology and instincts for what makes a great digital experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: you effectively synthesize, visualize, and communicate your ideas to others
    • Effective collaboration abilities: you partner well and win credibility quickly with others
    • Proficiency with Google collaboration suite: Docs, Slides, Sheets
    • Experience with Jira, Trello, Confluence or other use case management tools is a plus
    • Experience with SQL and Excel modeling is a plus
    • Experience with Adobe’s Creative Cloud or other design tools is a plus
