Minted is looking for a Creative Director for its Baby & Kids and Holiday businesses to join our Brand Team and who shares the philosophy that design and aesthetics are essential to effective brand communications. The ideal candidate brings digital leadership from UI to online marketing, has a proven portfolio, and has built and developed teams. This individual will thrive in a fast paced environment, understanding the need to be agile and align to retail business needs. S/he is adept at navigating both strategic information and the minute details, and ensures both are understood by a broader work team. Importantly, this person loves guiding the team and also enjoys maintaining their design skills by occasionally doing the work.
This position reports to the Vice President of Brand Marketing, but takes creative direction directly from Minted’s Founder and CEO. This individual will work cross-functionally with many teams across the organization, including but not limited to Marketing and Merchandising.

You will:

    • Lead the design team that delivers creative assets for Minted’s Baby & Kids and Holiday businesses in both print and digital channels.
    • Establish the creative approach and provide creative insights and leadership across all touchpoints of the Baby & Kids and Holiday businesses.
    • Raise the bar and take our visual brand to the next level. Ensure that our visual communications are on strategy, on brand, and drive results.
    • Guide the team by providing clear direction and identifying training opportunities.
    • Not only develop the strategy, but be comfortable executing as well.

You have:

    • 12+ years of experience in design and creative direction, including managing the photography art direction and production of marketing materials. 5+ of these years in a creative leadership role.
    • Experience focusing on moms as the key consumer target.
    • Experience in online retail and/or a direct to consumer/consumer products industry.
    • Experience in managing the photo art direction.
    • Digital creative leadership.
    • Proven portfolio of exceptional work.
    • Strong understanding of the full Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
