Minted is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Weddings to join our Product Management team and play a critical role in driving the growth of one of Minted’s largest categories, building a world-class shopping experience for our wedding customers.
This individual will bring excitement and passion for all things wedding, an insatiable curiosity for emerging industry trends and competitive experiences, and quickly develop a deep understanding of Minted’s wedding customers, products, and shopping experience.
This role will partner closely with the GM, Weddings to help define and execute a compelling product roadmap that supports both short and long-term category goals in the online channel.  As part of that strategy, you will own launching beautiful and innovative new wedding products and services to the site - both physical and digital - as well as developing a delightful and high-converting shopping experience that is compelling and differentiating for modern couples.
A constant champion for the wedding customer and category, this person will also work closely with core commerce and artist community product managers to ensure that platform initiatives appropriately contemplate wedding customer and category needs at all times.

You Will:

    • Develop an intimate knowledge of Minted’s wedding customer, products, services, and shopping experience
    • Partner closely with the GM, Weddings and Director, Business-Ops, Weddings, attending all cross-functional category meetings as the single point of contact and product management owner for the wedding customer and shopping experience
    • Monitor, analyze, and improve site conversion metrics - across all steps in the shopping funnel - for the wedding customer and products
    • Proactively seek emerging trends in the industry to inform thinking on creating a compelling and differentiating wedding shopping experience
    • Perform frequent research and analysis of competitive products, services, and experiences
    • Closely monitor wedding customer contacts and feedback to understand issues, glean consumer insights, and discover opportunities for improvement
    • Partner with the GM, Weddings and the Director, Business-Ops, Weddings to help translate business goals and requirements into category-specific roadmap projects
    • Maintain a well-documented roadmap of all wedding features, projects, and initiatives previously considered, active, or planned for the future
    • Drive timely execution and delivery across all wedding roadmap projects, even those led by other product managers, proactively managing risks and advocating for resources
    • Provide communication of status and risks to stakeholders and senior leadership across all wedding product management initiatives
    • Personally lead key wedding roadmap projects, translating business requirements into detailed product specifications ready for development by engineering
    • Drive product development execution including daily scrums, sprint planning, maintaining product specs and backlog, and coordinating design, development, QA, and launch for your projects

You Have:

    • Bachelor’s degree, MBA strongly preferred
    • 5-7 years product management experience building online consumer experiences (preferably for a retail, fashion, or lifestyle brand)
    • 3-5 years professional experience in relevant industry (retail, fashion/beauty, consumer internet)
    • Incredible detail-orientation and an ability to identify all customer use cases and product details needed deliver a successful shopping experience
    • Demonstrated effective partnership with engineering and proven record of driving and delivering project implementation, testing, and launch
    • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong project management skills and ability to plan, set expectations, make and meet commitments
    • Superb analytical skills and ability to effectively use data to investigate and solve problems and make decisions
    • A ‘fast-twitch’ response and ability to pivot quickly when needed, thriving in a rapid-pace environment
