Customer Order Concierge / Purchasing Agent

 

We are looking for an extremely organized individual to help us process customer orders for our furniture marketplace. This candidate should also feel comfortable interacting with our customers regarding their merchandise orders.  

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Process new customer orders including:

- calculating final charge

- purchasing inventory from retailers and manufacturers

- sending purchase orders

- sending final confirmation and receipt to customer

 

- Contact customers regarding approvals needed on their orders

 

- Communication with furniture vendors/account management

 

- Document order details in order tracking system

 

- Data Entry, vendor troubleshooting, 3D prop troubleshooting

 

Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree

Background in interior design/home furnishings/retail

Experience working in a performance oriented, customer-centric environment

Tech savvy, proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Google Drive

Detail oriented and comfortable calculating final customer charge

Bookkeeping and Accounting background

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Natural ability to collaborate with teams across the organization and thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment

Strong time management skills with ability to handle multiple requests at one time
