Product Marketing Manager, New Mobility

San Francisco, CA, US

At Uber, we ignite opportunity by setting the world in motion. We take on big problems to help drivers, riders, delivery partners, and eaters get moving in more than 600 cities around the world.

We welcome people from all backgrounds who seek the opportunity to help build a future where everyone and everything can move independently. If you have the curiosity, passion, and collaborative spirit, work with us, and let’s move the world forward, together.

As a PMM on the New Mobility team focusing on bikes and scooters, you’ll be at the forefront of ushering in Uber’s next chapter as it expands beyond ride-sharing. You will be responsible for developing a marketing strategy and narrative for our eMobility Supply and Optimization team. In close partnership with our product and program teams, you will focus on a variety of projects, including establishing and scaling our micromobility Gig Economy Program, while also creating compelling ways to communicate new opportunities.

What you’ll do

  • Shape the roadmap for new rider products in partnership with PM, engineering, operations and design leaders

  • Own the marketing strategy for the end-to-end Gig Economy experience for the Scooter Program
  • Design and refine marketing strategies to drive feature usage, engagement, and retention specifically for supply optimization
  • Be incredibly truth-seeking and a champion of eMobility supply and optimization
  • Partner with User Experience Research, Data Science, Operations and Support teams to uncover insights and hidden user problems
  • Define, prioritize and achieve key targets in business metrics, user experience and engagement
  • Oversee implementation, experimentation maintenance, and enhancement of the Gig Economy product

What you'll need

  • Passion for Uber’s mission and the company’s hybrid technology / operations nature.
  • Minimum 6-10 years combined product and growth marketing experience delivering highly successful growth, user acquisition and engagement strategies.
  • Master storyteller: You can craft a compelling narrative across different channels - you know how to match the message to the medium
  • Scary-good at articulating the essence of products and the value they create. You can develop a strong messaging hierarchy and effective content strategy plan. You can also play copywriter.
  • Finger-tippinesses with data: You just go get the data you need with no muss/fuss and can whip it into an insightful story with no help.
  • You know how to leverage data to make decisions and drive growth.
  • Top-notch at market research: You’re a truth-seeking missile. You know your market, customers and competition better than anyone, and you’re strong at integrating this information into your growth strategies.
