About the Role

We are looking for a skilled, stylish, and motivated copywriter to ideate and create content that will earn the love of current and perspective Eaters. This work could include integrated marketing campaigns, partnership co-marketing, product updates and launches, events and activations, in-app communications, and more.


The ideal candidate will have agency experience writing for global consumer brands—strong consideration will be given for QSR/fast food experience. They will be a strategic thinker with a passion for turning consumer insights into unexpected moments of delight. In return, they will have the rare opportunity to take a leadership role in helping shape and grow an emerging global brand and influence the way the world eats.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years working as a Copywriter in a creative agency or comparable in-house agency
  • Envy-inducing portfolio of work; awards welcome, award-obsessives not
  • Passion for breakthrough conceptual thinking and storytelling
  • Strong design sense and a deep respect for the Copywriter–Art Director partnership
  • Experience writing both technical and creative copy, and judging the appropriate context and audience for each
  • Personal interest in food, social, and technology trends  
  • Sense of pride in presenting well written, on-brand, error-free work
  • Self-starter with careful attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects without hand-holding
  • Excitement for ideating and creating in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment

About the Team


The Uber Eats Creative and Brand team is built like a small agency to both uphold global brand standards and service our regional marketing teams. We focus on all three Uber Eats audiences—Eaters, Delivery Partners, and Restaurant Partners.
