About the Role


We are looking to hire an ambitious Relationship Manager to lead post-sales relationships with our bank and institutional investors. It is critical to maintain strong relationships with these partners as they provide a bulk of the capital on our platform.
In this role, you will provide a phenomenal onboarding experience and work cross-functionally and across all levels of the organization in delivering LendingClub and its products to our investors. You will build trusting relationships, leading to additional investments and willingness to partner on new opportunities, as well as develop strong rapport with internal partners to maintain their support in meeting our investors’ needs.
You will have opportunities to collaborate with others, form intelligent opinions, and help drive good decisions throughout the company. You will also identify where there are opportunities for the business to do things differently, be encouraged to run with new ideas, and have the chance to drive your own projects from inception to completion.

What You'll Do


  • You have experience in handling customer inquiries and find fulfillment in solving business problems, picking up new tools, and thinking strategically
  • You can juggle multiple projects simultaneously amid competing deadlines and drive all the projects through to completion on time
  • You are organized, with exceptionally strong orientation to detail, planning skills and process management skills – small mistakes can have big consequences!
  • You have high EQ and are a clear communicator – verbal and written – demonstrating an uncanny ability to act as the voice of the investor internally at LendingClub and act as the voice of LendingClub with our investors
  • You have excellent people skills and an ability to work effectively with business leaders including at the SVP/CFO/CEO level
  • You are known as a high-energy, positive teammate who “gets stuff done”
  • You are a self-starter and can create your own structure to get things done
  • You have an unusually high bias towards ownership
  • You enjoy working in a complex, fast-paced environment



About You


  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience, ideally in the Financial Services or Consulting industries
  • Experience in Customer Success, On-Boarding, Sales, and/or Project Management functions
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • SQL knowledge (preferred)
