We’re looking for a PR Intern who is creative and has a passion for telling stories that resonate with different audiences. This is a global role supporting communications in several countries and across our consumer and enterprise teams. You will have the opportunity to work with our expert instructors, our corporate customers, and our everyday learners to tell their diverse and exciting stories. This role is an opportunity to tap into your creative side and collaborate with a dynamic team. Udemy's summer internship program is 10-12 weeks, starting either June 3rd or June 17th.

Here's what you'll be doing:

    • Work with the PR team to share Udemy’s story with the world. This includes global public relations, content marketing, and awards/speaking opportunities program.
    • Draft student and instructor success stories and other blog content.
    • Participate in weekly meetings, global agency calls, and creative brainstorms.
    • Compile weekly media updates and assist with quarterly measurement reports.
    • Conduct market research on the edtech landscape and competitive analysis

    • Avid news reader and keen sense for what makes compelling news.
    • Strong interest in pursuing a career in communications.
    • Ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • You take initiative, pay attention to detail, and drive projects to completion.
    • Passion for online education and Udemy’s mission.

What success will look like after 10 weeks
● Conducted insightful research on the edtech market, competitive coverage, and relevant
speaking and awards opportunities.
● Developed an understanding of working with external PR agencies in local and
international markets.
● Expanded your writing portfolio by drafting and publishing content to the Udemy blog, PR abstracts, and other communications materials.
● Gained experience working with media and industry analysts.
