The purpose of this role is to lead the Integrated Marketing annual planning process, integrated marketing calendar, aggregation and tracking of marketing budget, and measurement of the marketing plan. This role will help us where we should spend the next marketing dollar, or where we should shave the first marketing dollar.

What you’ll do - Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Partner with Mega-Regional S&P to coordinate the annual integrated planning process & ongoing management on behalf of marketing in conjunction with Finance.
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics, Research and relevant teams to ensure measurement, tracking & reporting against the plan.
  • Planning with Finance the annual marketing budget creating an aggregated view including media, non-media, people operations with key stakeholders.
  • Facilitates discussion around budget, trade-offs and priorities. Ongoing tracking and reconciliation of budget to plan. Ensures team is on-budget.
  • Managing the drivers of the financial forecast, gross revenue, margin, incrementally, drivers of efficient spend, leading indicators and more. 


Key Deliverables:

  • Annual Marketing Plan process in collaboration with S&P + Finance
  • Coordinate measurement and reporting and performance reviews against annual plan KPI’s
  • Integrated marketing calendar of priorities
  • Marketing budget reconciliation with finance & ensure PO process is in place
  • Lead weekly Priorities & Performance Meeting
  • Monthly US&C Marketing performance update


Key Performance Indicators:

  • On-time delivery and accurate on-going management of plan to priorities
  • Annual plan variance managed with finance & US&C S&P
  • P0 & P1’s resourced & delivered against


What You'll Need:

  • 7+ years working in marketing planning or operations capacity with deep experience working with finance teams
  • Understanding of what data is actionable and insightful vs. data for data sake. Deep desire to get complex information into a highly-digestible format, from topline revenue and active user base to leading indicators over time.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in the development and application of financial, analytical and budgetary techniques.
  • Measurement and reporting junkie who geeks out on ensuring marketing efforts are trackable from high-level OKRS down to project-level levers.
  • Exceptional ability to use both quantitative and qualitative data and analytics to frame, understand and synthesize complex business problems into clear, concise and easy-to-understand objectives.
  • Experience with computer modeling, management reporting systems and computer applications. Ability to create and manage databases and Excel based financial models.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interpret results, understand implications and communicate to business users.
  • Process-oriented with extraordinary communication and organization skills.
  • MBA preferred.
