Essential Responsibilities: 

We’re looking for an experienced Director of Demand Generation and Account-Based Marketing that will be responsible for developing and managing account-based marketing campaigns that support our account specific sales objectives and drives pipeline in our most strategic markets. This person will be a leader across the demand generation team, reporting to and partnering closely with the Vice President of Demand Generation and Account-Based Marketing. They will work closely with field marketing, marketing ops and content teams.

What You’ll Be Doing…

  • Design, execute and implement pipeline generation and acceleration programs for specific, targeted accounts and contacts jointly with global sales and field marketing
  • Deploy ready-to-carry-out marketing tactics and provide sales enablement on an account and industry basis using various channels including digital, direct mail, events, and social media
  • Proactively engage with the direct and indirect sales and field marketing teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities
  • Work with vendors and agencies to help translate goals into deliverables
  • Communicate and educate the field sales in partnership with field marketing team regarding new and planned marketing activities including global, regional and local programs
  • Track lead flow to ensure the appropriate sales channels are following up on marketing in a timely manner
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes

  • Excellent project, analytical and budget management skills
  • Possess the ability to build and manage program key dependencies to drive the desired outcomes
  • Experienced with account-based marketing programs and technologies and large-account selling teams
  • Define and execute against an always-on digital account marketing strategy which leverages email, programmatic advertising, SEM, content syndication and paid social
  • Establish and operate against a campaign qualification and pipeline model that ensures sales achieve their revenue goal in each segment
  • Develop data and insight strategy to build and maintain comprehensive account profiles and target personas, oversee our contact database ensuring we achieve our growth and health goals for each account
  • Align closely with sales on account targeting and opportunities while continually measuring, optimizing and reporting out on demand generation efforts to demonstrate material contribution to global pipeline generation

 What You’ve Done… 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience working in a hands-on digital marketing role; the right candidate must have experience both in defining the campaign strategy and deploying their own campaigns
  • Extensive experience with lead scoring and nurturing email marketing campaigns through the funnel
  • Extensive experience and knowledge with the modern marketing stack, specifically to support an account-based focused organization and sales field
  • Proven track record in lead acquisition and customer retention digital programs
  • Strong project planning and execution skills
  • Proficient in audience segmentation, sales play development and content mapping to the buyer’s journey
  • Able to prioritize and manage time effectively — manage multiple priorities, projects and resources
  • Able to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
