We are looking for a release product manager. As the release product manager, you will usher release management activity across the entire project lifecycle. We need somebody who will stay close to the customer and business units to understand and educate engineering teams about how customers integrate and deploy Qubole software into their production systems.
At Qubole, we process over an exabyte of data and run millions of commands each month for our customers. Our operations and our customer’s operations span multiple offices and time zones. You will be responsible for on-schedule and predictable delivery of Qubole’s releases at this scale and span. This includes defining and managing release schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals, progress to project stakeholders.

What you’ll do

    • Liaison with customers, business teams to understand deployment of Qubole software.
    • Ensure on-time and predictable delivery of Qubole releases to customers.
    • Define, lead (oversee) process workflows for engineering, product, documentation teams to ensure availability of high quality content.
    • Clearly communicate project goals, risks, progress to internal stakeholders.
    • Track release quality and usage before and after release.
    • Identify improvements to release model and related activity to better serve customers.


    • Practical experience in agile methodologies running SaaS projects.
    • Past experience running large programs involving multiple stakeholders and functions.
    • Great oral and written communication skills.
    • Interpersonal skills and ability to work with teams of diverse cultures.
    • Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
    • Background or degree in engineering or information systems is a plus.
    • PgMP (Program Management Professional) and PMI-ACP (PMI Agile Certified Practitioner) certifications are a plus.
