The Product Strategy team plays a pivotal role in the Tech (Product + Engineering) organization by partnering with leadership on deliverables related to strategy, planning, collaboration, accountability, and more. The team consists of representatives from product management, analytics, and operations. Analytics is a critical part of the team, as a data-driven approach is absolutely necessary for the group to effectively prioritize tasks. Additionally, many of the initiatives heavily involve metrics, such as goal setting and accountability, so analytics is a strong pillar within the group as it relates to execution of the highest-impact projects across Tech.


What you'll do:

  • Co-lead the creation of company-wide and department goals by leveraging KPIs and OKRs
  • Champion a metrics-driven culture within the Tech organization to foster accountability and rigorous decision-making
  • Generate ideas for exploratory analysis to shape future projects and provide recommendations for actions
  • Perform variance analyses against critical benchmarks to identify the root cause behind trends
  • Own various strategic initiatives and ensure we are closely following the mutually agreed upon timelines, proposing actionable next steps to move projects forward
  • Dissect complex projects into discrete, prioritized tasks that appropriately reflect the high-level objectives of the organization/company
  • Establish organizational measurement cadence to regularly communicate results and monitor key metrics in scalable ways
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across disciplines such as product, engineering, operations, marketing, finance, and strategy
  • Present findings to senior management to drive business decisions

What you'll need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a quantitative analysis role
  • BA/BS/MS in Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative field (advanced degrees are a plus)
  • (1) Excellent SQL skills and (2) experience in or a willingness to learn at least one scripting language (Python or R preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of experimentation and statistical methods are a plus
  • Ability to deliver on tight timelines and move quickly while maintaining attention to detail
  • Appetite to work closely with cross-functional teams to execute on decisions
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to work in a self-guided manner
  • Executive presence to regularly interface with leadership
  • Superb communication and organization skills
  • Familiarity working with or on product teams is a plus
