As a Junior Production Designer on Uber’s Marketing Team you will be responsible for delivering advertising assets for use across a wide range of marketing channels. We take creative concepts from our internal design teams, as well as partner agencies, and scale this work for local and international markets around the globe. We are looking for someone with a solid knowledge of design fundamentals who also has a passion for process, efficiency and productivity. You should be eager to learn and grow your production design skills, working with many teams across a variety of channels. The ideal candidate possesses strong graphic design and technical skills as well as superb organizational practices. Read on if this sounds like you!

What You’ll Do

  • You will play a critical role in helping your team find the best available options to execute campaigns across a variety of marketing channels; such as social media, out of home, as well as traditional online digital ads.
  • You will ensure that quality and brand standards are maintained throughout the entire creative process.
  • You will work with our Production Designer team, recreating design files across multiple sizes and formats, and delivering all of the final assets for trafficking. In addition, you will create documentation to help define and improve these processes will also be part of your job function.
  • You can communicate effectively with the creative directors, designers, copywriters, project and marketing managers on your team, which will be critical to your success.
  • You have a clear understanding of scale & proportion and how this translates across different sized ad units. The role involves large scale production work with a high degree of file exporting and optimization involved.
  • You’re adept at handling high volume of work, which is critical. This will require problem solving and critical thinking on daily basis.  


What You’ll Need

  • At least 2 years of production design experience
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop &  Illustrator. After Effects is a plus.
  • ​Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Libraries
  • Html5 experience, Google Web Designer, Celtra, Adobe Animate, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of different export file types and file optimization
  • Experience with automation software and workflows
  • Awareness of typographic best practices, including non-english alphabets
  • ​Familiarity with Google Docs
  • Experience with Box or similar cloud based storage platforms


Bonus points for:

  • Experience with language localization process for multiple countries.
  • Beginner to intermediate experience with Sketch and/or Figma.
  • Digital animation experience.
