Who are you?

You have some experience as a product manager with recent experience developing products for the SMB/B2B world. You have built and shipped UI/UX-centric features products in the past, owning the entire end-to-end process from ideation to rollout and post-rollout management. You know what it means to own a product and desire to be in a position of personal responsibility for your product’s growth and ongoing success. 

In short - you are the CEO of the products you own.

You have raving fans who love your approach to product management, both on the technical and commercial teams. Internal customers trust your judgment and applaud your communication skills. Engineering leaders approve of your specifications -- they are neither bare-bones haikus, nor are they overly-prescriptive...they are just right. 

You have a strong customer service orientation, and think about the needs/wants of both internal and external customers in your daily decision-making and product leadership approach. You are a natural problem solver, have a “no excuses” mentality and generally maintain a positive outlook when difficulties arise. You have excellent time management skills, and possess the ability to focus intently on a given product or feature and work relentlessly to design the “right” product.


What will you be doing?

  • This role exists to make every stage of a SMB customer’s lifecycle with Sojern—from the time of onboarding to account setup to the growth of their account—as easy as possible

  • As a Product Manager focused on the customer’s journey, you will define and ship successful, meaningful features that help Sojern’s SMB customers onboard faster, stay in the loop better and love their experience with Sojern

  • A critical mission of this role will be to sync and align Sojern customers’ account information across systems to enable Sojern to track, understand and solve for customer needs and grow products. 

  • You will work directly with engineering to prioritize backlogs, manage sprints, and deliver product features in an agile environment.

  • You will interface directly with commercial teams: GMs, sales leaders, account managers, partner managers and advertising customers directly, collaborating on potential solutions and gathering feedback for new products and product features.

  • You will lead at least one cross-functional team, comprised of leaders from multiple disciplines within the company, focused on the ongoing success of your product(s)

  • You will have 3+ years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year as a product manager

  • Knowledgeable about agile development methodologies

  • Exceptionally good at authentically understanding the needs of our customers, and representing those needs in the form of concrete product requirements

  • Self-motivated; exhibiting strong self-management and a sense of urgency

  • Able to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with other people and departments in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • An exceptionally strong writer and presenter

  • Able to get things done amid tight time constraints

  • Willing to travel occasionally (international and domestic)


You will have:

  • Demonstrated success in guiding UI/UX-centric features from kick-off to ship.

  • Recent experience developing products for the SMB/B2B world.

  • Experience prioritizing among competing product features.

  • Solid SQL skills with the ability to write queries to get the relevant data. Bonus points for some experience in Python.

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, and A/B testing design, execution and measurement.

  • Experience leading entrepreneurial efforts, outreach within organizations and/or project management experience.

  • A strong technical acumen (explicit engineering background not required).
