Description

Our People team is growing and we need a Manager of People Operations who can design, develop, implement and manage our end-to-end people platform. This includes “core HR” like benefits, compensation and compliance; and supporting the entire “employee journey” with programs and processes like onboarding, leaves, recognition and performance reviews.
 
This is a role for someone who can drive operational excellence, develop accurate and rigorous data and information management practices, and ensure we deliver exceptional service to employees across the whole employee life-cycle. There are many annual and strategic projects to handle, but this is also about ensuring the day-to-day excellence of our processes and workflows by being fully engaged in the details. This position will ensure our People department operates efficiently and aligns with our business objectives and support a positive employee experience.

You will:

    • Design and manage the work flows, transactions, reporting, and recordkeeping aspects of our people function; including applicant tracking, onboarding, performance management, engagement, compensation, benefits, and compliance among others.
    • Lead annual cycles for compensation review, level setting, benefits renewal, and compliance.
    • Support People Business Partners and Recruiters with information, data, processes, cycles, and transactions (PTO, benefits, promotions, leaves, exits, etc.).
    • Be the key People partner to Finance and Legal teams within Minted in the administration and communication of equity compensation.
    • Supervise data migration, systems implementations, and process improvements as we design and build new tools/processes.
    • Collaborate with People Business Partners and Payroll to provide seamless service to Minted employees.
    • Provide expertise and guidance on employment practices, legal compliance, company policies, etc.
    • Ensure HR operational excellence with accurate, timely, and robust information, process, and project management practices.
    • Champion and role model Minted’s culture, values & mission, finding ways to continually strengthen them in your team and at the company overall.

You have:

    • 5+ years working in HR/People Operations.
    • Experience working in fast paced, high growth, dynamic companies.
    • Fluency in HR systems, tools and applications.
    • Expertise in compensation benchmarking, immigration, compliance, and reporting.
    • Knowledgeable in CA and US HR-related policies and law.
    • Understanding of equity compensation and strong facility with numbers, and an ability to communicate clearly about these to employees, to our Finance team, and to the Board.
    • Experience managing a team and developing young professionals.
