Consultant, Clinical Operations - Generalist

Qventus is looking for an energetic, personable and quick-learning healthcare professional to assist us in working with hospital clients to expand existing use cases, develop new modules and drive outcomes by leveraging the Qventus platform. The role requires someone who is quick and eager to learn, passionate about making healthcare operations more efficient, and technically-minded.
Core Job Responsibilities:
The Generalist Consultant will lead professional services engagements at our largest enterprise healthcare clients.  A new role, the Generalist Consultant will have a high degree of autonomy to design, propose and execute on-site process improvement projects across the customer base.  He/she will develop strong relationships with key clinical / operations leadership and end users in our client hospitals - understand their operating environment and workflow needs, and lead clients to adopt effective processes to help improve patient flow and throughput, improve coordination with ancillary services and inpatient units and drive desired outcomes.
The consultant will perform a variety of services to our clients, including assessing current state processes, recommending new standards of work or processes, and leading the implementation of these processes at the client.  As part of this process redesign, the consultant will also actively propose methods and help clients to integrate Qventus product features into these processes.

The ideal candidate will have:

    • A background in professional services or consulting (5+ years), with a significant portion of that experience taking place in the context of healthcare operations
    • A track record of leading clinical teams in process improvement and redesign projects
    • Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal + written), project management and client service skills with the political savvy to engage with client C-suite executives
    • Strong attention to detail and proven data/analytical and process redesign skills (including problem solving, quantitative reasoning and workflow mapping) in order to create a solution that drives measurable desired results and maintains client and team satisfaction
    • Basic technical understanding of EMR data - including understanding of databases and object-oriented programming - with a desire to expand his/her technical knowledge
    • Flexible learning mind-set to fully understand and integrate Qventus solutions with a high level of critical thinking and the ability to navigate ambiguous and dynamic circumstances and environments
    • Solid written communication and documentation skills to create and edit internal and client deliverables that are succinct, articulate and meet Qventus standards of quality

The role is a full-time position and will be based out of Mountain View, CA. The role will require meaningful travel (Monday-Thursday during engagements) to our client sites.
