The Role
 
As Director of People & Culture, you will function as a change agent for the organization.  You will act as a trusted advisor and business partner to the company’s senior leaders, functioning as the expert on people and organizational issues. This position reports to the CFO and will be a critical partner to the executive leaders. You will drive cultural initiatives, performance management, engagement and retention, career development, compensation, separation management, HR systems, diversity, facilities, and benefits for our business.
 
The successful candidate for this role will be an inspiring leader and mentor, offering a long range vision for scaling the organization and incorporating our values. S/he brings demonstrated success in scaling startup organizations. You will have a strategic focus couple with a day-to-day operational mindset.  You will guide us through the complex human resource issues of a fast growing company while helping us stick with one of our Qventus values, “ Healthcare is complicated and so is technology so we won't’ be.”

Role and Responsibilities

    • Work on strategic HR visions and foster a high-performance culture.
    • Be the advisor and business partner to senior leadership and drive positive impact on the employee experience.
    • Oversee the development and execution of compensation philosophy & practices, performance management, training, employee relations, and internal communications.
    • Improve the on-boarding process to ensure new hires have the tools to be successful.
    • Assist employees with immigration matters, partnering with outside immigration counsel as needed.
    • Maintain awareness and knowledge of labor laws and assure compliance.
    • Drive leadership succession planning and employee development.
    • Facilitate and enable collaborations among cross-functional teams.
    • Select and implement an HRIS & Payroll system

Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required (MBA strongly preferred) or equivalent work experience.
    • 8+ years of experience in HR Management.
    • The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate your previous ability to scale a growing company.
    • Ability to move between strategic thinking and rolling-up your sleeves to tackle operational work.
    • A track record of exceptional inclusive collaboration.
    • Strategic and ability to solve complex business challenges.
    • Experience developing and implementing company-wide initiatives.
    • Expertise using design thinking, personas, insights and trend analysis to develop capabilities to support employee experience vision, strategy and offerings.
    • Established credibility throughout the organization to be an effective listener and problem solver of people issues.
    • High degree of integrity and honesty.
