About the Role


The Salesforce Administrator / Developer is responsible for maintaining and driving enhancements to our Salesforce platform including: user support and training, user management, configuration, documentation, identifying and troubleshooting issues, resolving system defects and building advanced reports and dashboards. You will act as the technical SME for Salesforce and will focus on maximizing system efficiencies and better capitalizing on the features and benefits of Salesforce-based systems relative to the needs of various user groups.


What You’ll Do

  • Manage administration functions including but not limited to: user and security management, object customizations, process automations, fields/relationships, workflow rules, page layouts, validation rules, email templates, custom buttons and app installations, configurations and integrations
  • Manage user configuration, roles, profiles and permission sets
  • Handle inbound user requests and respond to them in a timely manner in our ticketing system; troubleshoot, resolve, escalate, and track system issues
  • Create and maintain thorough, up-to-date, functional and technical systems documentation
  • Support QA efforts during implementations and rollouts of new system features
  • Assist with data maintenance, imports, exports, and updates using data loader
  • Create reports and dashboards for the business
  • Maintain a holistic view of all business processes and users in the system to understand cross-functional impacts with regard to configuration, process, workflow and reporting
  • Monitor, assess and report on Salesforce system health and usage. Identify needed system improvements
  • Act as a leader and mentor to more junior members of the team, promoting growth, development and knowledge sharing

What You’ll Need

  • 4+ years of experience providing operational support using CRM
  • Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Community Cloud
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification
  • Bachelor's degree from 4 Year accredited College/University, or equivalent experience
  • Must be detailed-oriented and have strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Able to meet deadlines, communicate delays, clarify ambiguous situations
  • Ability to provide impeccable customer service  in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and pick up new skill sets quickly
  • Mastery of user security, profile and role management, custom objects, workflow and validation rules, email templates, formulas, dashboards & reporting
  • Experience with Visualforce, APEX, Java, Canvas, Process Builder, Salesforce Cloud Flow Designer, SOQL and JavaScript
  • Previous roles in a consulting or high growth, tech environment highly desired

  • Operations experience a plus
  • Experience with the new Salesforce lightning framework a plus
