The position offers candidates a superb opportunity to join our System Integration Team to support a number of different projects, many of which are high profile, enterprise class solutions for major Blue Chip/FTSE 100 clients.

Description We are looking for candidates with 5 years’ experience in.Net (C#), SQL Server, Azure cloud services to join our dynamic and leading-edge Software and Consultancy Company. Candidates must have relevant experience working in a technical production support role.


As a Technician in the System Integration team you be responsible for maintaining our service to a very high standard meeting all our customer SLAs and OLAs. You'll be accountable for the overall service we provide as well as incident, problem and request resolution supporting our 1st and 2nd line team in our Support Team. This is a varied and interesting role that would suit someone who is customer-focused, has technical experience and proven problem-solving skills.


You'll have a passion for delivering excellent customer service with an ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical and internal and external audiences. You will be knowledgeable in ITIL processes, and support the escalation of priority incidents.


  • Service Levels – Ensure Appriss provides a high level of service to customers across solutions by:
    • Implementing and managing monitoring of solutions and environments
    • Proactively identifying issues and improvement opportunities
    • Resolving Incidents and issues efficiently and effectively
  • Provide 3rd Line Support for the Appriss Cloud Integration Platform and Integration Solutions (RTI)  
  • Deploy Solutions to Productions and Provide Initial Hypercare Support
  • Provide Out of Office 24 x 7 x 365 Support Cover (3rd Line) on a Rota Basis
  • Receive, Triage and Respond to 3rd Line Support Tickets raised by automated alerts and by customers
  • Respond to Customer Enquiries and Requests
  • Work with the RTI Platform and Delivery teams to establish and deliver enhancements to the platform and production solutions
  • Document support solutions for 1st and 2nd Line Teams (Performance KPI based on number of Tickets raised to 3rd Line)
  • Provide Training to Support and Delivery Teams on Solutions and Platform
  • Identify and develop automated Support Processes on the Solutions and the underlying Azure Platform
  • Contribute new ideas and technical approaches or solutions
  • Implement, and ensure adherence to, coding patterns and practises
  • Mentor and assist other members of the Systems Integration team, becoming a go person for technical issues
  • Promote and ensure excellent communication with a distributed team
  • Support legacy product changes
  • Keep work items up to date


  • Cloud Services (Mainly Azure but also AWS)
  • C#, .NET Core 2.0 + , Framework 4.7.2, Standard 2.0
  • Visual Studio 2017, VSTS/Azure devops, SQL Server 2016 +, Azure Storage, Cosmos DB
  • Angular 6+, HTML, CSS

Skills and Experience

  • Problem Solving and Trouble Shooting High Volume and Complex Solutions
  • Azure Services: Portal, Storage Explorer, Resource Groups, App Services, Databases, Storage Accounts
  • Experience of supporting solutions with HTTP or TCP/IP and ReSTful web services
  • Solid low level understanding of .NET, how it operates and its performance
  • Ability to work with a virtual cross functional and department team
  • Awareness of architectural design patterns and industry standards
  • Strong web skills with a deep understanding of web apps and supporting them
  • Excellent communication skills (in English)
  • Understanding triage, defect management and release management processes
  • Be able to translate business requirements into technical implementation.
