Description

Minted is looking for an ecommerce Product Manager, Holiday, Baby & Kids to join our Product Management team and play a critical role in driving the growth of our flagship holiday and baby & kids businesses.  You will be building a world-class online experience for customers shopping Minted holiday stationery, gifts and year-round children’s stationery such as birth announcements, baby shower invitations and graduation announcements.
 
This individual will combine proven consumer-centric approach to product development and keen instincts for building successful growth and virality drivers to help fuel new holiday and baby & kids customer acquisition.
 
This role will partner closely with the GM, Holiday, Baby & Kids to help define and execute a product roadmap that supports both short and long-term category goals in the online channel.  As part of that strategy, you will own launching beautiful and innovative new holiday and baby & kids products and services to the site - both physical and digital - as well as developing a delightful and high-converting shopping experience that is compelling and differentiating. This person is energized by the peak Q4 holiday selling season; they thrive under pressure, and enjoy seeing the fruits of their labor pay off in a highly concentrated sales period.
 
A constant champion for the holiday and baby & kids customers and categories, this person will also work closely with core ecommerce and artist community product managers to ensure that platform initiatives appropriately contemplate holiday and baby & kids customer and category needs at all times.

You will:

    • Develop an intimate knowledge of Minted’s holiday and baby & kids customers, products, services, and shopping experiences
    • Partner closely with the GM, Holiday, Baby & Kids and Manager, Business Operations, Holiday, Baby & Kids, attending all cross-functional category meetings as the single point of contact and product management owner for the holiday and baby & kids customers and shopping experiences.
    • Monitor, analyze, and improve site conversion metrics - across all steps in the shopping funnel - for the holiday and baby & kids customers and products.
    • Proactively seek emerging trends in the industry to inform thinking on creating  compelling and differentiating holiday and baby & kids shopping experiences.
    • Perform frequent research and analysis of competitive products, services, and experiences.
    • Closely monitor holiday customer contacts and feedback to understand issues, glean consumer insights, and discover opportunities for improvement.
    • Partner with the GM, Holiday, Baby & Kids and Manager, Business Operations, Holiday, Baby & Kids to help translate business goals and requirements into category-specific roadmap projects.
    • Maintain a well-documented roadmap of all holiday and baby & kids features, projects, and initiatives previously considered, active, or planned for the future.
    • Ensure compelling features developed for other categories are extended to holiday and baby & kids categories, where appropriate.
    • Drive timely execution and delivery across all holiday and baby & kids roadmap projects, even those led by other product managers, proactively managing risks and advocating for resources.
    • Provide communication of status and risks to stakeholders and senior leadership across all holiday and baby & kids product management initiatives.
    • Personally lead key holiday and baby & kids roadmap projects, translating business requirements into detailed product specifications ready for development by engineering.
    • Drive product development execution including daily scrums, sprint planning, maintaining product specs and backlog, and coordinating design, development, QA, and launch for your projects.

You have:

    • Bachelor’s degree, MBA strongly preferred.
    • 3-5 years product management experience building online consumer experiences (preferably for a retail, fashion, or lifestyle brand).
    • 2-3 years professional experience in relevant industry (retail, fashion/beauty, consumer internet).
    • Incredible detail-orientation and an ability to identify all customer use cases and product details needed deliver a successful shopping experience.
    • Demonstrated effective partnership with engineering and proven record of driving and delivering project implementation, testing, and launch.
    • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong project management skills and ability to plan, set expectations, make and meet commitments.
    • Superb analytical skills and ability to effectively use data to investigate and solve problems and make decisions.
    • A ‘fast-twitch’ response and ability to pivot quickly when needed, thriving in a rapid-pace environment.
