Minted is looking for a Creative Director, Merchandise & Design to join our team to lead assortment selection and merchandise design for our businesses, with a strong emphasis on our stationery businesses (holiday cards, wedding stationery, birth announcements, and more), for which Minted is known worldwide. This role will have full responsibility for how the Minted brand is expressed through our product. Taking into account our crowdsourcing data and in close partnership with our Merchants and our Head of Crowdsourcing, s/he determine product assortments and guide design development that will not only drive sales, but raise the bar from a design and aesthetic point of view and represent the fact that Minted’s brand is completely centered around the best in product design. This individual will thrive in a fast paced environment, understanding the need to be agile and align to retail business needs. S/he is always looking to learn from others, open to new models and the disruption that technology is creating in the world of design, adept at navigating both strategic information and minute details, and ensures both are understood by a broader team. Importantly, this person loves guiding a team and also enjoys maintaining their creative skills by occasionally being hands on with design work.
