San Francisco, CA, US

What makes us different
We are a B Corp
We are a B Corp - a group of about 2500 companies (like Patagonia and Ben & Jerry's) that prioritize social & environmental impact as well as profits. We can only do well if our community, environment, employees, and customers do well too.
We have to engineer to move physical product; which is hard! And fun!
Scaling our technology doesn't just mean more users online, but also shipping and managing physical product at scale. Ever tried optimizing order routing across a network of distribution centers to minimize order splitting? Here's your chance.
We sell real things to real people, and make an impact
We’re not selling to Silicon Valley & New York; Our customers are real families across the United States. We’ve helped hundreds of thousands of families make better decisions and use more sustainable products.
We are in a truly massive market
Laundry detergent alone is a $130bn global market. And there's been little innovation in the past decade. Across consumer goods, it's the same products, sold at the same brick & mortar grocery stores. We can do better for our customers, and for the world.
The Role
In this role you will report into the central analytics team, with a focus on making Grove's operations even more awesome. Operations is all about serving up the WOW factor to our customers, and data gives Grove the edge it needs to keep improving. You will be the point person to create operational excellence through reporting, insights, and dashboards, and identify and solve business challenges from service improvements, to cost management, via analytics. This position will help drive the team with better insights into our performance.
You will also work closely with your fellow analysts to make sure that our company-wide BI platform is scalable, sensible, and maintainable. You'll create data products that can be actioned by teams across the company, and help drive insights upstream to influence strategy.
You will be trusted to independently identify and dive into complex business questions and product actionable insights. The role will drive key operational KPIs around on-time performance, order accuracy, order quality, process efficiencies, process costs and associate performance. As with all data, it must be accurate, thus you will also be responsible to ensure that our data analysis and reports are correct, rigorous (e.g. statistically-backed), and easily accessible via reports & dashboards.
