About the Role

 

 

Uber is hiring a junior-level Marketing Manager to further build out the Cross-Channel Media Team at HQ. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has started to build their career in Marketing to gain cross-channel (integrated) and digitally focused media planning experience and get exposure to all facets of the business.

The ideal candidate will have experience at a media agency (digitally focused), a digital vendor, or in an in-house marketing department. He or she is organized, detail-oriented and eager to learn and contribute. This candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with Sr. Marketing Manager and fellow Marketing Managers to drive execution of digital and integrated media campaigns that support Uber’s growth initiatives while achieving cost KPIs in the US and Canada
  • Work with agency and digital channel managers to ensure that plans are executed as developed and all proper tracking is in place. Including, but not limited to: flowcharts, budget forecasts and reconciliations, and weekly KPI reporting
  • Collaborate with team members to drive weekly, monthly and quarterly optimization tactics that consistently improve each digital channel’s ROI without losing site of growth
  • Work with Marketing Analytics and AdTech teams to ensure that all campaigns are setup and tracked properly
  • Work with Program Managers to drive creative pipeline to ensure the media team is providing timely feedback and specs are delivered properly and on time.
  • Own the creative trafficking process for various digital and integrated campaigns to ensure proper campaign execution.
  • Own tracking of all creatives live in market.
  • Embrace knowledge of all changing media marketplace conditions, consumer trends, research/measurement evolutions, and media tech
  • Implement ongoing communications with agencies to inspire the best work and ensure a strong feedback loop between Uber and Agencies

 

What You’ll Need

  • 2 Minimum Years of Experience with Marketing and Media

 

About the Team

The cross-channel team is responsible for determining macro-level channel budget allocations as well as determining holistic media strategies and plans across all sub-channels. This team sets the vision for how performance marketing hits business objectives and works with channel experts in order to execute to hit goals.
