About the Role


In this role, you will manage a team of Learning and Development Specialists to ensure they have the support and development needed to propel to the next level of building an enduring learning and development culture with our in-person support employees. You will bring a strong knowledge and background in learning and development, training facilitation, and curriculum development.

What You’ll Do


Learning Specialist People Management

  • Direct management of Greenlight Learning Specialists (located across the US & Canada)
  • Develop the next iteration of the team vision, brand, processes, and structure to optimize the existing team’s strength and impact
  • Establish ongoing development cadence for Learning Specialists to develop key skills
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs to recommend training and implementation modifications
  • Partner with stakeholders to consult on training rollout strategy


Stakeholder Communication & Partnership

  • Work closely with Greenlight Leadership and key stakeholders on learning needs & overall program health
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with the US&C Learning and Development team, business managers, and members of the project team based on a shared commitment to achieving business results
  • Collaborate with appropriate L&D partners to ensure training materials and rollout reflect up-to-date business changes
  • Communicate training results to show the impact of training on key business metrics



  • Align learning and training experiences with Uber's culture and values
  • Be a passionate advocate for ensuring the highest quality learning and development opportunities for our in person support teams, which in turn enables us to be passionate advocates for our customers  

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or relevant learning program
  • At least 2 years of working experience in Learning & Development / Project Management / Team Management
  • Previous experience analyzing business needs, designing, developing and evaluating training


Bonus Points If

  • You bring formal knowledge of instructional design and curriculum management
  • Experience within the customer service industry
