As the Global Google Channel Manager, you are responsible for building the relationship between Bluecore and Google. You will be managing a highly strategic and transformative relationship for Bluecore, with high visibility by the executive team. This is an opportunity to not only drive significant revenue but develop as an industry expert to help Bluecore differentiate in the market and win complex deals with the largest retail brands in the world. Your ability to penetrate new territories and align efforts from departments across both organizations is essential to being successful in this role.  This role will report to the Head of Strategic Partnerships.


    • The essential responsibilities of the Google Channel Manager are to work directly with Google to develop sales opportunities, and to work effectively across functions with other Bluecore employees to build the Bluecore/Google partnership
    • Provide coaching and management oversight to the Bluecore and Google sales and Partner teams to help them drive their sales strategy and goal attainment
    • Use relationship management techniques to develop selling opportunities with Google
    • Work closely with sales management on development and execution of a sales strategy
    • Identify needed resources for supporting sales strategy and develop a proposed budget for management review
    • Participate in strategic planning sessions with Google and Bluecore sales management team on a quarterly and annual basis
    • Establish goals and quotas to drive at the strategic as well as tactical day-to-day account-alignment level
    • Create sales team alignment between Google and Bluecore account teams
    • Schedule and attend sales call appointments with a prospect in partner organization
    • Be seen and treated by Google as a trusted and valued resource
    • Collaborate with the field marketing organization to plan, deliver and manage an effective communication and demand generation campaign for each focus partner
    • Identify Bluecore customer references that can be utilized when reference selling
    • Develop a joint account management plan between Bluecore and Google to sell to customers based on their business needs
    • Understand the capabilities of each team and develop improvement/incentive plans to bring all Google team to equal capability
    • Interface directly with Partner/Field Marketing teams to develop specific MDF funded target events (eg. Roundtable in Pittsburgh across 7 accounts with Google and Bluecore)
    • Work with Partner Marketing to Leverage Social media to bi-directionally promote and drive the Bluecore and Google partnership, goals and objectives.


    • A Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree; or related field is preferred
    • 8 to 12 years of channel sales experience, experience working with Google sales is strongly preferred
    • Demonstrated experience exceeding quota and sales goals
    • Demonstrated leadership and initiative
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills
    • Experience navigating highly dynamic deal scenarios with multiple partners and multiple options for partnering for joint value
    • Ability to work collaboratively with employees within the sales function and across functions including Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development
    • A strong understanding of the sales process and Channel Sales
    • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
    • An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
    • Ability to communicate with senior managers about their business challenges and sell the Bluecore core value proposition (Martech experience)
    • A seasoned experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures, this individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving a wide range of issues in imaginative and practical ways
    • The ideal candidate will contribute proactively to the sales team efforts and positively influence decisions. May also act as a team leader and main decision maker for team
