At Propel, you’ll be tasked with designing an industry-best UX where customers are at the center of your focus. You’ll address complex problems and come up with elegant solutions that will delight users. From wireframing to building mockups and prototypes, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to help create enterprise software that users around the world are excited to use.

What You’ll Be Doing

    • Working closely with the Product Team on Propel’s platform to create new concepts with wireframes, producing high-fidelity mockups, writing detailed documentation, and critically assessing designs.
    • Designing creative solutions to leverage existing Salesforce platform capabilities to create a great user experience.
    • Experiencing first-hand the creative processes as they exist in an Enterprise software environment.
    • Performing user acceptance testing to ensure new features conform to specifications and satisfy user requirements.
    • Developing your current skills even further and adding even more skills to your toolbox by taking on new challenges.


    • Currently pursuing or obtained a BA, BFA, HCI, or other design-related degrees
    • Be legally allowed to work in the US (US citizen, green card, or F1 student visa holder)
    • Have the ability to intern in Santa Clara, California
    • Have the ability to work for a continuous 10 weeks in the summer (40 hrs per week)
    • Have the ability to work 20 hours per week during the school year
    • Have an online portfolio
    • Experience in sketching and wireframing
    • Visual Design skills
    • Proficient in Sketch, Invision, Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
    • Willingness to help out in all phases of the design process
    • Ability to prioritize and manage work to adhere to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
    • Have a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, careful attention to detail, as well as ability to grasp multiple product requirements
    • Must have a basic grasp of web design principles and a good understanding of current web technologies (html, css, javascript)
