About the Role

Uber is looking for a highly talented, inquisitive and inventive mind to join the Driver Marketing Strategy team as Brand Manager. In this role, you help shape and implement the  marketing vision for the largest workforce in the United States, empowering millions of people to earn on their terms.


Marketing Strategy  owns the strategic workflow across the Marketing team and collaborate deeply with partner teams to generate the most innovative, and insights-driven and marketing creative output, as well as unparalleled customer experience, with the goal of driving growth across segments and services. This function sits at the intersection of business priorities, consumers insights, and marketing, and is essential to moving the business forward. The ideal candidate will have experience generating and using business insights to set strategy, and experience unifying business objectives and customer needs.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop customer centric and insights drive marketing plans to achieve business objectives across driver acquisition, engagement and retention.
  • Define key messages and create integrated marketing programs and campaigns that connect with drivers and to drive brand health, customer acquisition, and retention
  • Ensure alignment with key cross-functional(including Product, Research, Policy, Design, Business Development and more) to bring complex, high-impact programs, experiences and campaigns to life
  • Collaborate with marketing channel partners including CRM, paid, social, and web to develop innovative, integrated multi-channel campaign strategies that maximize impact & breakthrough
  • Work with Operations, Analytics, and Data Science teams to establish and measure KPIs across all marketing campaigns and programs


What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years experience in building and managing consumer marketing programs with deep expertise in strategy, marketing, research/insights, operations, and analytics; brand management, product marketing, tech or consulting firm experience desired. MBA preferred.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders, managing ambiguity, and guiding collaboration across teams to deliver superior campaigns/experiences.
  • Track record in leading impactful, breakthrough marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Masterful at translating consumer insights to meaningful audience, messaging + creative strategy
  • A proven strategist with engaging skills in verbal, written, and visual communications.
  • Strong, demonstrated leadership capabilities and upward management with strong executive presence
