The role: 

We are seeking a strategic partnership professional to join Sojern’s business development team. This person will support, optimize, and expand our strategic relationships with major travel companies.This position requires a strong client-service orientation and a high level of intellectual curiosity. This agile team is responsible for building diverse partnerships in order to drive growth and recurring revenues.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide prospecting support

  • Support account teams in showcasing the power of data to prospective and existing clients

  • Drive optimal operational relationship structure for partnerships

  • Assist in compiling and presenting Quarterly Business Reviews

  • Customize and improve client reporting/deliverables and manage ad hoc needs

  • Assist in monthly financial billing reconciliation and collaborate on billing process enhancements

  • Lead QA efforts, data integrations, monitor performance, and recommend solutions to improve client performance

  • Assure compliance with contractual obligations

  • Support account teams in showcasing the power of data to prospective and existing clients

 

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • Minimum of 5-6 years post-college work experience in travel, business development, or online advertising

  • Strong client-service orientation

  • Experience working with premium travel accounts

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities

  • Great time management and organizational skills

  • Willing to travel to visit external clients

  • Great with people – ability to work with internal and external teams
